Partnering with parents is part of the DNA of a University-Model School, but it is a learned balance to create a healthy rhythm. Communication, expectations, and support are vital to everyone's success. Statistics also prove the power of the parent-child relationship, and it is our great opportunity to equip and empower the parents in their most important role.

Session Learning Objectives
1. The teacher will have an opportunity to share their present challenges and needs related to partnering with parents.
2. The teacher will understand and evaluate the statistics related to parent engagement in the education of their children and the opportunity found in the University Model of Schooling.
3. The teacher will create a toolbox of ideas and practices to yield an effective partnership plan!
