2019 UMSI Summit has ended
The theme for the UMSI Summit is “Partnering for the Kingdom,” with professional development tracks available for classical teachers, traditional teachers, administrators, family ministry practitioners, and program support faculty.

Returning to the 2019 UMSI Summit as keynote speaker is Dr. Kathy Koch, founder of Celebrate Kids, Inc.

A business model helps an organization consider and document its assumptions about how it operates. This session will use the Business Model Canvas to examine a school's unique value proposition, understand it's "customers," key activities, key resources, revenues, costs and more.

Session Learning Objectives
1. Use business concepts to better understand the school's operational issues
2. More clearly identify the school's value proposition and its fit with the target market
3. Consider the school's cost and revenue model to plan for sustainability
